Wheat flour import permit system suspended.
The permit system for the import of wheat flour has been suspended, State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya announced today.
State Minister Siyambalapitiya stated that the suspension was effective from midnight yesterday (Aug. 29).
He further stated that the Import Tax on 1 kilo of wheat flour has been increased from Rs. 16 to Rs. 27.
