A tragic incident occurred in Galawewa, Kabithigollawa, where a 64-year-old man lost his life after being attacked with a weapon. The police reported that two individuals assaulted him following a personal dispute. The victim was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
As part of the ongoing investigation, authorities have found two mobile phones believed to belong to the suspects involved in the attack. Efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
