Yupun to miss Florence Diamond League due to injury.
Sri Lankan sprinter Yupun Abeykoon has ruled himself out of the Florence Diamond League meet this Friday, missing the opportunity to compete against the current Men's 100m Olympic and World champions.
Abeykoon suffered a minor hamstring injury towards the end of the 100m finals at the Savona International meet last week, and has now been advised by his medical team to rest for the next few weeks.
