Price of Bread and Bakery products increased
The Bakery Owners’ Association has announced an increase in the prices of bakery products, including a 450g loaf of bread.
The Association said the price of a loaf of 450g bread will be increased by Rs.30, while the price of other bakery products will increase by Rs.10.
The Bakery Owners’ Association further said the price hike will come into effect from midnight today.
The prices of bakery items are being increased after Prima Ceylon (Pvt) Limited announced a hike in the price of its wheat flour.
The company said that it has increased the price of its wheat flour by Rs. 40 per kilogram.
