37 Acts to be amended
The Ministry of Justice states that laws are being prepared to amend 37 Acts into new Acts.
In the past 14 months, Parliament has passed eight laws or ordinances.
Four bills have been tabled in Parliament after completing the due process and seven bills have been submitted to the Attorney General's Certificate with the approval of the Cabinet.
Furthermore, 29 bills have been approved by the Cabinet and referred to the Legislative Draftsman.
