COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka introduced a new hotline to provide information on COVID-19 patients who continue to remain at home, said Army Commander General Shavendra Silva on Monday (03).
The new hotline is: 1906
The Army Commander speaking to News 1st said complaints were received that COVID-19 patients were not directed to hospitals or treatment centers and therfore in order to address the situation the 1906 hotline was introduced.
After information is provided to the hotline it will be shared with the other agencies so that the COVID-19 patients will be sent to the hospitals and treatment centers, he said.
