Tourist arrivals increase in February
The number of tourists visiting Sri Lanka in February this year has increased compared to January.
Accordingly,1,682 foreign tourists visited the island in January, compared to 3,366 in February.
However, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority says that tourist arrivals are still low due to the global epidemic of coronavirus.
Tourist arrivals fell by 99.3% in January this year compared to 2020, while tourist arrivals fell by 38% in February.
The highest number of tourists in February was 845 from Ukrain
