Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 356 COVID patients reported yesterday (02), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 104 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 63 cases were reported, while 21 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 29,960 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 16,724 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 6,237 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 84,226, while 80,437 have recovered with 3,305 still receiving treatment.
