'Dissolution of Parliament is unconstitutional' - Nepal Supreme Court
The Supreme Court of Nepal has declared that the dissolution of Parliament by the Prime Minister of Nepal as unconstitutional
Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli dissolved the country's parliament last December, saying the Communist Party of Nepal was not cooperating.
However, it is unconstitutional and the Supreme Court of Nepal yesterday ruled that Parliament should be re-established.
Several petitions were filed against the dissolution of parliament, and a number of protests were held in the capital, Kathmandu.
