A couple set themselves on fire in Wilgamuwa
A married couple has committed suicide by setting themselves on fire inside a shop in front of a house in the Wilgamuwa - Meewaobe - Nugagolla area.
Police stated that it is suspected that they had set fire themselves around 10:00 p.m. yesterday (18).
The deceased husband is 27 years old and the wife is 23 years old.
The bodies are being kept at the same location under police protection and the relevant magisterial inquiries and postmortem examinations are to be held today.
The reason for these suicides was not revealed yet.
