176 COVID patients identified in Rideemaliyadda garment factory
A garment factory in Gemunupura, Rideemaliyadda was closed for two weeks after 176 employees of the factory were diagnosed with COVID-19.
Out of 2,300 employees in the garment factory, 540 were subjected to PCR, where 176 were diagnosed with the virus.
The Hiru News correspondents stated that the infected workers are residents of Rideemaliyadda - Gemunupura, Arawatta, Abeypura, Keselpotha North and South.
