Three new symptoms of COVID identified

In a study which was presented yesterday (02) Spanish researchers found in a study that changes to the tongue, the hands or the soles of the feet could give an early indication of COVID-19 infection.

In the study which was carried out on 666 patients, some of them have showcased swelling of the tongue and appearance of patches, which is now known as ‘COVID tongue’ and in many occasions attributed to the loss of taste.

Another symptom was a burning sensation and redness on the palms or soles of the feet, which in some cases was followed by the appearance of small blemishes
