289 Lankans who were subjected to harassment return to country
A total of 289 Sri Lankans who were subjected to various harassments and abuse during employment in the United Arab Emirates arrived on the island at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake.
The group came from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Hiru News correspondent at the airport stated that the group arrived arrived on the flight UL 226 at around 05:20 a.m.
The group was directed to quarantine at arrival.
