Committee appointed to amend Muslim law : Justice Minister
Justice minister Ali Sabry has said that a committee has been appointed to look in to making amendments to the Muslim Law in the county.
Mr. Ali Sabry said “Group of youngsters are engaged in making civil reforms. Currently we have established 11 committees to make amendments to the exciting law. This cannot be done in a single day as I wish. We have appointed a separate committee to make amendments to the Muslim Law as well. I haven’t forgotten that”
The Justice minister shared these views while addressing the gathering during an event in Colombo yesterday (30).
