Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 892 COVID patients, the highest number of COVID patients was identified, from the Colombo District which was 298 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 203 cases were reported, while 42 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 23,936 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 12,673 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 4,759 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 61,586, while 54,435 have recovered with 6,854 still receiving treatment.
