Operation of 'Denuwara Menike' suspended
Sri Lanka Railway has stated that the 'Denuwara Menike' train service is suspended until further notice due to the lack of seat reservations prior to the train journey.
According, the train 1001 'Denuwara Menike' operated from Colombo Fort to Badulla will be suspended from today (28) and the train 1002 'Denuwara Menike' operated from Badulla to Colombo Fort will be suspended until further notice from tomorrow (29).
Passengers who have already reserved seats for the 'Denuwara Menike' train journey will be accommodated on the train 1005 'Podi Menike' from Badulla to Colombo and on the train 1006 'Podi Menike' from Colombo Fort to Badulla.
