Work from home to come to and end - Public servants to report to work stations?
Instructions have been issued to call up public servants according to work requirements on the instruction of the head of the institution.
Minister in charge of the subject Janaka Bandara Tennakoon stated that Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration J.J. Ratnasiri has informed all heads of state institutions in this regard.
With the expansion of the coronavirus, certain restrictions on the engagement of public servants in office came into effect in the last few months with the option of working from home.
However, from tomorrow it will be possible to call in all employees at the instruction of the head of the institution.
This will exclude quarantined personnel.
