More showers expected in Northern and Eastern Provinces
The Meteorological Department states that more showers could be expected in the Northern and Eastern Provinces in the next few days due to the turbulent weather conditions prevailing in Sri Lanka.
In addition, showers will occur at times in the North, East, North Central, Uva and Central Provinces and in the Hambantota District, the Department said.
According to the weather forcast, heavy showers may occur at certain parts in the Sabaragamuwa Province and in the Kalutara, Galle and Matara districts.
