Rs 20 commemorative coin presented to President (Photos)
The new commemorative coin of Rs. 20 issued to mark the 70th anniversary of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka was presented to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa by Central Bank Governor Prof. W.D. Lakshman.
The coin is made of aluminium and bronze with a 7-sided shape.
The Presidential Media Unit stated that this is a limited issue of 3000 coins and will not be used for circulation.
The Central Bank Headquarters and District Branches will sell the coin for Rs. 1300.
