Tests on 37 other local drugs developed against the corona virus
State Minister of Indigenous Medicine Sisira Jayakody states that an expert committee of the Ministry of Ayurveda has been appointed to look into 37 local medicinal solutions to combat the corona virus.
The state minister was speaking to the media after offering a medicine box containing 108 local medicines after the commencement of the Sri Pada pilgrimage season yesterday (29).
He further stated that clinical trials of corona syrup have begun while tests are being carried out on 37 other local drugs that are said to be suitable for the fight against Covid virus
He also said that a committee of experts has been appointed to study various aspects of medicines and syrups developed for Covid.
