Occasional showers in several provinces tomorrow
With the showery condition over several provinces expected to enhance to some extent from tonight (26), the Department of Meteorology forecasts showers at times in the Northern, Eastern, North-Central and Uva provinces and in the Matale and Nuwara Eliya districts tomorrow.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere in the afternoon.
The Department requests the public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
Misty conditions can be expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces in the morning.
