Isolation of some areas to be lifted
The isolation of the Pettah, Foreshore and Mattakkuliya police division areas in Colombo district and Negombo and Ragama in Gampaha district will be lifted at 5.00 am tomorrow (30), says Army commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva.
In a statement quoting the Army chief, the Government Information Department says the Randiya Uyana housing scheme and Ferguson Road south area in Mattakkuliya police division will be isolated from 5.00 am tomorrow.
So will the Laksanda Sevana housing scheme at Wellampitiya and Salamulla and Vijayapura Grama Niladhari division areas, it adds.
