Lockdown on Colombo housing complexes extended for two weeks

The current lockdown imposed on housing complexes in Colombo district will continue until 6 December, stated the National Operations Center for the Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

The lockdown was extended for housing complexes for two weeks with effect from 23 November.

Five housing complexes in Colombo divisional secretariat area, three in Thimbirigasyaya division and one in Moratuwa are remain under isolation accordingly, stated the Colombo district secretariat.

The lockdown was extended due to finding of more COVID-19 cases from areas concerned.
