Investigation into reports that an archaeological site has been cleared

An incident stating that the property where the Namal Pokuna is located facing the historic Dimbulagala Aranaya Senasanaya had been bulldozered is to be immediately investigated according to the subject state minister, Vidura Wickramanayake.

A group of officers are to be sent to the site this morning to verify these allegations.
