Covid-19: The number infected in the police exceed 1,000
The number of police officers who have contracted coronavirus have exceeded the 1,000 mark yesterday.
There are currently 1,039 infected among police coronavirus clusters, including 238 STF officers who have contracted the virus.
DIG Ajith Rohana stated that most of the infected were those on duty in various places
Colombo District continues to report the highest number of covid-19 cases among the public. Currently over 7,000 have been reported from the district.
