Federal judge dismisses lawsuit by US president Trump
A federal judge in Pennsylvania dismissed a lawsuit from the Trump campaign that sought to invalidate millions of mail-in votes in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.
"It is not in the power of this Court to violate the Constitution," Judge Matthew Brann of the US District Court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania wrote on Saturday. The judge rejected the Trump campaign's attempt to throw out the Pennsylvania vote, noting that Biden has won the state and results will be certified by state officials on Monday
He said his "court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations".
However, it is reported that Trump will no longer accept defeat in the state of Pennsylvania.
As a result, the foreign media stated that the Trump party expects to file an appeal again.
