Covid-19 in India has now exceeded 9 million
With the identification of another 45,882 corona infections in the last 24 hours ending this morning, the total number of corona infections in India has crossed one million.
According to the Indian Ministry of Health, the number of covid-19 infected people has increased to 9,004,365 while the number of coronavirus related deaths has increased to 132,162 with 584 deaths reported yesterday.
8,428,000 infected people have recovered since the outbreak of coronavirus in India since January.
Maharashtra is the state with the highest incidence of coronavirus in India and the number of infected people is close to 1.8 million.
