‘Radhe Shyam’: Director shares making video from the sets of the Prabhas starrer
It’s already evident that the team of ‘Radhe Shyam’ which includes Prabhas and Pooja Hegde have wrapped up a month-long schedule in Italy and jetted back to India in the first week of November. According to reports, the final schedule of the period drama is all set to flag off in the massive set erected at a private studio in Hyderabad and some crucial climax portions are expected to be filmed. Grapevine suggests that the lead actors are yet to join the proceedings.
Meanwhile, director Radha Krishna Kumar took to social media and shared a making video from the sets of ‘Radhe Shyam.’ Equipped with blue screen in the backdrop, crew members can be spotted making all the arrangements for the shoot in the 7-second clip which is captioned as “Into the world of blue screen with my DOP @manojinfilm 🥳#virtualreality #unrealengine #radheshyam” Acclaimed cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa is handling the camera for this pan-Indian project.
Speculations are rife that the special set constructed for ‘Radhe Shyam’ is estimated to have cost around Rs 30 crore to the producers. Hollywood action choreographer Nick Powell has been reportedly roped in as a stunt coordinator for this sequence and previously, he has worked for Indian films like 2.O and Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika.
Jointly bankrolled by UV Creations and T Series, ‘Radhe Shyam’ is a heart-wrenching love story is set against the backdrop of Paris in the 1920s. Starring Pooja Hegde as the leading lady, the big-budget romantic-drama features an ensemble cast with the likes of Bhagyashree, Priyadarshi, Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Sathya in pivotal roles.
