Coronavirus: 157 fresh cases confirmed
Fresh COVID-19 positive cases were identified in Sri Lanka as the total number of cases reported from the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda clusters reached 14,327.
The Department of Government Information said 154 more persons were tested positive for the virus.
All the new cases are close contacts of the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda clusters, reports confirmed.
With the new development, Sri Lanka has confirmed 17,831 novel coronavirus infections to date.
According to the Health Ministry’s data, 12,210 of the confirmed patients have made complete recoveries from the virus.
