Carcass of a wild elephant found on a river bank
The carcass of a wild elephant has been found on the riverbank of the Settikulam Kappachchi tank in Vavuniya .
The Wildlife officials suspect that the seven-year-old elephant has been poisoned to death.
The Vavuniya Wildlife Office has commenced an investigation into the incident.
