Police Special Task Force officers arrested a 50-year-old suspect in Kochchikade during a high-profile operation on Chilaw Road, uncovering an Italian-made revolver and a significant quantity of narcotics.

Authorities confirmed the seizure of:

7.974 kg of hash
Over 1 kg of cannabis powder

The suspect, a resident of Kochchikade, is now in custody as investigations continue.
