Sanam Shetty’s case against Tharshan: Court orders police to submit progress of the investigation

Actress Sanam Shetty’s rift with Bigg Boss contestant Tharshan is known to all. The actress, who is currently part of Bigg Boss Tamil season 4, had alleged that Tharshan, one of the contestants of Bigg Boss Tamil season 3, had backed out from marrying her after getting engaged to her. She had filed a complaint with the Adyar police station alleging that Tharshan was in a relationship with her and had promised to marry her. She had even released some photographs of an engagement ceremony featuring both of them. She had mentioned that after attaining fame through the television reality show hosted by Kamal Haasan, she has not only been sidelined by Tharshan but he was also defaming her through social media.

After some days, the actress approached the Chennai High Court saying that she was cheated, defamed on social media and even threatened by Tharshan. She alleged that her complaint has not been investigated properly. The case, when came for hearing today before the judge, he ordered the Adyar police to submit the investigation report and the progress within three weeks before the court.

Currently, Sanam is in the Bigg Boss house and it’s reported that Tharshan is in his hometown in Sri Lanka.
