Two Dead as Lorry Overturns in Narammala
Two people have died after a lorry overturned near the Alahitiyawa Wewa along the Mavee Ela Road in Narammala.
According to police, the accident occured when a lorry carrying labourers lost control of the vehicle.
Five people were in the lorry at the time of the accident.
The driver has been arrested after surrendering to the authorities.
The deceased have been identified as residents of Vavuniya.
