Thirteen Sri Lankans Freed from Cyber Slavery Camps in Myanmar

Thirteen Sri Lankans who were held in cyber-slavery camps in Myanmar were released.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Myanmar confirmed that arrangements are being made for their return to Sri Lanka under the supervision of Thai authorities.

Over 250 individuals from 20 countries were freed from cyber crime camps in Myanmar last Thursday (Feb 13th).

Another group of Sri Lankans still remains in the custody of these Myanmar cyber criminals. Negotiations for their release are currently underway.
