Awareness Programs for Election Candidates on Income and Expenditure Report Submission
A series of awareness programs was launched for candidates contesting the upcoming local government elections, focusing on the preparation and submission of income and expenditure reports.
This initiative follows legal action taken against numerous individuals who failed to submit these reports during the last Presidential and General Elections.
Commissioner General of Elections Saman Sri Ratnayake says that the program will be conducted across all districts of the island.
