Exams Dept. to look into reports of errors in O/Level Sinhala paper

The Department of Examinations said it will look into reports that there are errors in the Sinhala question paper of the GCE Ordinary Level examination.

Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara said he advised the marking panel to study the question paper extensively, when marking answer sheets.

He said if any errors are found in the question paper, it will be dealt with in a manner that does not cause injustice to the exam candidates.

The Commissioner General of Examinations said various reports are being circulated regarding the question paper, based on a personal dispute among a group including the Chief Invigilator.

He condemned the move to cause a burden to all students over personal matters.
