Sri Lanka Unveils New Tourism Data System to Enhance Industry Insights and Decision-Making
The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) has introduced a new tourism data system.
The system will provide up-to-date data on tourist arrivals, demographics, spending patterns, and other key metrics.
This data will be used to inform tourism policy and marketing decisions, and to track progress towards sustainable tourism goals.
SLTDA Chairman Priantha Fernando said that the new system will be a valuable tool for the tourism industry.
"This data will help us to better understand our tourists and their needs," he said.
"It will also allow us to measure the impact of our tourism initiatives and make sure that we are on track to achieve our sustainable tourism goals," he also said.
