Two-Day Holiday for GCE O/L Evaluators.
Principals and teachers engaged in evaluating the G.C.E. Ordinary Levels Examination have been granted a two-day work leave for Monday (28) and Tuesday (29).
The evaluation process of the answer sheets for the G.C.E. Ordinary Levels, which commenced on the 18th of August, concluded on Sunday (27).
In recent days, G.C.E. Ordinary Levels Examiners staged protests demanding a Rs. 2000 worth allowance.
Minister of Education, Susil Premjayantha, says that he has already taken steps to address this matter.
