Man dies after been pushed towards a traveling bus in Kandy (Video)
A man has been killed after a group of people attacked him and pushed him towards a bus travelling along Udewela Road, Kandy.
Police spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said that this incident took place after an argument between two groups travelling in a Three-Wheeler and a Van.
The victim is a 24-year-old traveling in the said van. Two people have been arrested and the bus also has been detained by the police.
The magistrate’s inquiry on this incident will take place today (27th). Police spokesman further states that this crime has taken place due to both parties’ aggravated behavior due to being intoxicated with alcohol.
