Pictures : Audi A6 crashes into wall in Colombo 07
An Audi A6 has been totaled after crashing into a wall near the public library roundabout in Colombo 07 early this morning (29).
Images circulated on social media show the bonnet of the car having been completely destroyed in the accident which is reported to have taken place around 03am.
It is suspected that the driver may have lost control of the vehicle after over speeding.
The Police have warned drivers to adhere to safe driving during the festive season as there is a significant increase in motor accidents reported over the last few days.
Special operations have also been launched by the Police to apprehend drunk and reckless drivers during this period. (NewsWire)
