Dengue on the rise; health authorities concerned
The number of Dengue cases reported across Sri Lanka is on the rise, once again.
Director of the National Dengue Control Unit Dr. Nalin Ariyaratne said that majority of the cases were reported from Kandy, Colombo, Nugegoda, Gothatuwa, Gampaha and Attanagalla.
66,500 cases were reported in the country so far this year, while 39 people have died due to Dengue.
