Suspect arrested in Gandara along with 480g of heroin
A suspect was arrested with 480 grams of heroin in the Gandara - Nakuttiya area.
According to information received by the Matara Divisional Anti-Corruption Unit, the arrested suspect was produced before the Matara Police Station yesterday afternoon.
The 47-year-old suspect is a resident of Matara - Kekanandura area.
Also, another suspect was arrested in the Nakuttiya area last night with 5.6 grams of heroin.
Police stated that the 37-year-old is also a resident of Kekanadurra.
Both suspects are to be produced before the Matara Magistrate's Court today
