'The country should have closed when it was necessary' - (Video)
The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) states that the spread of COVID-19 which resulted in the prevailing situation in the country cannot be stopped miraculously.
GMOA Deputy Secretary-General, Dr Naveen de Zoysa stated that the delay in taking decisions would lead to the closure of the country.
Speaking further, he added that it is still possible for the relevant authorities to control the situation.
