3324 arrested for violating quarantine laws
Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana states that 3324 persons have been arrested for violating the quarantine laws since October 20.
The Police Media Spokesman further stated that 14 persons have been arrested for violating the quarantine laws during the last 24 hours.
The police urge the public to continue to follow the quarantine law, which is being implemented island wide due to the covid epidemic, and to further adhere to those laws to prevent the spread of the epidemic
