Going viral on the 16 years of release of Shankar Dada MBBS is an old star-packed picture from the success party of the film.
In the picture that has fans going gaga over it, a young Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Tarun, Sumanth and Srikanth can be seen with Chiranjeevi in the picture. All the stars in the picture are all smiles as they pose together for it. The picture shared on a movie buff’s handle has invoked nostalgia in many, with them commenting on how Tarun was such a huge star back then since Nuvve Kavali released in 2000 and about their favourite memories of the film. Varsham had also released in 2004 skyrocketing Prabhas to stardom.

Shankar Dada MBBS hit screens on October 15, 2004 and was the remake of Hindi hit Munna Bhai MBBS. Chiranjeevi and Srikanth reprised the roles played by Sanjay Dutt and Ardhad Warsi in the original. The film that was directed by Jayanth C Pranjee saw music by Devi Sri Prasad and dialogues by Paruchuri Brothers. Despite many already watching the film in Hindi when it released, the Telugu remake was also a massive hit, getting Chiru and Srikanth Filmfare Awards. The film also saw Sonali Bendre, Paresh Rawal and Girish Karnad in key roles.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi will soon be seen in Acharya by Koratala Siva, Prabhas will soon be seen in Radhe Shyam by Radha Krishna Kumar and Mahesh Babu is yet to begin shooting for Sarkaru Vaari Paata by Parasuram Petla.
