The Sri Lanka Freedom Party has decided to reject the final report of the Easter Commission. That was at the executive council meeting of the Freedom Party which met yesterday.

Former President Maithripala Sirisena was re-appointed as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.

Also, the Executive Council of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party which met last afternoon decided to re-appoint Minister of State Dayasiri Jayasekara as the new General Secretary of the party.

Ministers Nimal Siripala de Silva, Mahinda Amaraweera and Prof. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa have been re-elected as the party's senior vice presidents.

Minister of State Lasantha Alagiyawanna has been re-appointed as the Treasurer of the party and Minister of State Duminda Dissanayake has been re-elected as the National Organizer of the party.

Also, officials were elected to 10 Deputy Chairman posts and 8 Deputy Secretary posts at the Executive Council meeting held yesterday.
