Colombo District reports highest number of COVID patients yesterday
Among the 492 COVID patients reported yesterday (24), the highest number of COVID patients were identified from the Colombo District which was 103 patients.
From the Gampaha District, 88 cases were reported, while 04 cases were reported from the Kalutara District.
Another 29 patients were reported from the Kandy District.
Since the beginning of the second coronavirus wave on 04 October, from the Colombo District 29,172 COVID patients were reported.
During the same period, 16,215 COVID patients were reported from the Gampaha District, while 6,121 COVID patients were reported from the Kalutara District.
The total number of COVID cases in Sri Lanka stands at 81,009, while 75,842 have recovered with 4,714 still receiving treatment.
