Health Ministry revises guidelines on discharge of Covid patients
The Ministry of Health has issued new guidelines with regard to the discharge of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Sri Lanka.
Issuing the revised guidelines, the Ministry said criteria for discharge of COVID-19 patients from treatment facilities have been revised.
The Ministry further said when deciding on criteria, factors such as the existing capacity of the healthcare system, laboratory diagnostic resources and the current epidemiological situation must be taken into consideration. (NewsWire)
