Long distance train journeys re-commence today
Long distance train journeys will re-commence today (January 18).
Accordingly, trains will run on the main line from Colombo Fort to Kandy and Badulla.
The trains will run from Mount Lavinia to Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai on the Northern line and from Colombo Fort to Batticaloa on the Batticaloa line.
Also, long distance train services will be launched from Colombo Fort to Beliatta on the coastal route.
