Concession period granted to pay fined expires today
The concession period given by the Post Offices to pay fines for expired traffic fines due to the spread of coronavirus expires today.
However, the grace period for payment of fines issued by the Colombo Municipal Traffic Police and the Police Emergency Response Unit was extended until 08 February.
A statement issued by the Postal Department states that the grace period was extended at the request of the Police Department
Accordingly, it will be possible to pay the fines issued by the Colombo Municipal Traffic Police and the Police Emergency Response Unit during office hours.
